It seems, Oppo is getting ready to launch its next flagship phone in Reno series in the coming months. The reliable source Digital Chat Station has a new information that reveals chipset and camera details of the upcoming Oppo Reno 9 series.
The next generation of Oppo Reno series is supposed to be having three different models – the Reno 9, the Reno 9 Pro, and the Reno 9 Pro Plus.
According to DCS, the Reno 9 Pro is rumored to come equipped with Snapdragon 778G SoC. If you remember, previous generation reno 8 Pro was launched with the latest Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC. But why Oppo would be coming with a downgraded version of the SD7Gen 1 for the Reno 9 Pro? However the handset will be shipping a 64MP primary camera.
He also claimed that the Oppo Reno 9 Pro+ model is supposed to bring the MediaTek MT6895 chipset, which is also known as Dimensity 8100 SoC. The Reno 9 Pro Plus is rumored to be launching with a 50-megapixel main camera with Sony IMX766 sensor.
