OPPO, a prominent Chinese smartphone maker, is said to be gearing up for the launch of its Reno 10 series, expected to hit the market in May 2023. Notably, last December, the reliable tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) had leaked a schematic of the Oppo Reno10 Pro+, giving the public a glimpse of its design. Recently, DCS shared yet another schematic, believed to represent the Oppo Reno10 Pro.
Indeed, the leaked schematics of OPPO PHW110 and PHU110 provide some exciting insights into what we can expect from the upcoming Oppo Reno10 series. While the PHU110 model is expected to be the Reno10 Pro+ variant, the PHW110 is believed to be the standard Reno10 Pro version.
According to the leaked schematics, the Oppo Reno10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro+ share a similar design language, with slim bezels, curved edges, and a punch-hole cutout for the front-facing camera. However, the most noticeable difference is the absence of a periscope unit on the Reno10 Pro, which is instead expected to feature a telephoto unit that offers 2x optical zoom. This suggests that the Reno10 Pro may not have the same level of zoom capabilities as the Pro+, which reportedly supports up to 10x hybrid zoom.
Moreover, the Oppo Reno10 Pro is said to have the model code PHW110, while the Pro+ has the model designation PHU110. It’s worth noting that the Pro+ is rumored to come with the Dimensity 8200 chipset, while the Reno10 Pro is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Both devices are also said to feature curved screens, but according to DCS, they differ in their specifications.
As per the leaked schematics, the Oppo Reno10 Pro will come with a 6.7-inch display featuring a resolution of 2,412×1080 pixels. On the other hand, the Pro+ variant will feature a slightly larger 6.74-inch display with a higher resolution of 2,772×1,240 pixels. The screens on both devices are expected to feature a high refresh rate, which should provide a smooth and fluid user experience.
In terms of camera specifications, the Oppo Reno10 Pro is rumored to sport a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Meanwhile, the Pro+ variant is expected to come equipped with a 50MP primary camera featuring Sony IMX890 sensor. It’s worth noting that the Pro+ is also rumored to feature a 4,600 mAh battery, which should provide ample battery life for extended usage.
Interestingly, there were reports earlier this year that the Oppo Reno10 series would launch in India in February. However, those rumors turned out to be incorrect, and the launch is now expected to take place in May 2023.
Overall, these leaked schematics offer a tantalizing glimpse of what we can expect from the Oppo Reno10 series. Fans of the brand in India will undoubtedly be eagerly waiting to get their hands on these devices, which promise to offer an impressive set of features and specifications.
