Some more authentic details were revealed out about the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 and Galaxy Tab 3 devices over the last weekend. SamMobile believes that the manufacturer has decided to drop the idea of Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 tablet, and the reason behind this decision hasn’t been mentioned. The source also says that Samsung may unveil an 8-inch Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 model at some point, by determining the sales of the Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet.
The folks over PhoneArena have got a couple of images, which are claimed to be one of the upcoming Galaxy Tab 3 tablets. The source has failed to confirm whether we are seeing at an 8-inch Tab 3 or a 10.1-inch Tab 3 device in the images. The model number of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 are: GT-P5200 (3G/HSPA), GT-P5210 (Wi-Fi only) and GT-P5220 (with LTE support). We are not able to see the model number on the above image, since it is blurred. However, this tablet is expected to be one of the Galaxy tablets, which will be unveiled at MWC trade show next month in Barcelona.
According to some reliable sources, Samsung is working on a high-end Samsung GT-P8200 Galaxy Tab 3 device, which is expected to have sport a 5 megapixel camera and SamMobile claims that it will be released in the first half of this year with 16/32GB of storage options and 4G LTE connectivity. They also said that GT-P8210 will refer the 3G+HSPA capable Tab 3 device, while the GT-P8210 will go on sale as Wi-Fi only Tab 3 tablet. On the other side, the manufacturer is also rumored to be prepping a tablet with the codename “Vienna,” but there is nothing firm yet on the hardware specs details.
A recent leak has confirmed S-Pen functionality for the Galaxy Note 8.0. The tablet was seen pictured with S Pen. You can see (pictured below), there is a physical Home button on the bottom side of the tablet, and a dedicated slot for S Pen in the lower left corner. Galaxy Note 8.0 has also made its appearance at FCC with model number GT-N5510, wearing Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
