Realme, the renowned smartphone brand, has launched its latest offering, the Realme C55, in India, just two weeks after its initial announcement in Indonesia. The phone boasts several exciting features, including the Mini Capsule functionality. This feature, similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island, displays critical information such as notifications, battery alerts, and data consumption, all conveniently placed alongside the hole punch cutout on the display.
The Mini Capsule feature is a unique addition to the Realme C55 and offers a visually appealing and practical way for users to stay informed about their device’s important details. The feature’s placement on display ensures that users can easily access and view critical information without disrupting their current activities.
In addition to the Mini Capsule feature, the Realme C55 also boasts impressive hardware specifications. The phone features a large 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a fast 90Hz refresh rate, providing smooth and responsive performance. The screen has a high 91.4% screen-to-body ratio, resulting in an immersive viewing experience. The punch-hole cutout on the screen houses an 8MP front-facing camera, perfect for selfies and video calls.
Under the hood, the Realme C55 is powered by the Helio G88 chipset, which delivers smooth and efficient performance, even with demanding apps and games. It comes with up to 8GB of RAM and an additional 8GB of virtual RAM, ensuring that the device can handle multiple tasks simultaneously without any lag.
The phone also boasts an impressive rear camera setup, featuring a 64MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The Realme C55’s plastic back has undergone a dual texture coating process with a 13-layer process texture, giving it a premium look and feel. The phone also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, providing convenient and secure access to the device.
One of the standout features of the Realme C55 is its large 5000mAh battery, which can easily last a full day on a single charge. The phone also supports 33W fast charging, which can fully charge the device in just 63 minutes.
The Realme C55 will be sold in two attractive colours, Sun Shower and Rainy Night. The device is priced at Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB + 64GB model, Rs. 11,999 for the 6GB + 64GB model, and Rs. 13,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model. The device will be available for open sales starting from March 28 at 12 noon. Customers can purchase the device via Realme’s official website, Flipkart, and other partnering stores.
As part of the pre-booking campaign, customers can also take advantage of an INR 1,000 exchange offer, allowing them to save money on their purchases by trading in their old devices. Realme is also offering a special promotion exclusively for students. Customers who purchase the Realme C55 at Realme exclusive stores between March 28 and March 31 will receive a free pair of Realme Buds Q2, a popular wireless earphone model.
