Realme has confirmed the existence of the C55 smartphone, revealing the timing of the launch vague. The Realme C55 will be officially launched on March 7 at local time 1PM in Indonesia. This revelation comes from Realme’s Indonesian branch, which also set up a promo page for the Realme C55 on its official website, confirming its previous design leaks and color options.
Realme C55 has Mini Capsule
The webpage also confirmed Apple’s Dynamic Island inspired Mini Capsule for the Realme C55. The Mini Capsule shows you important information such as phone charge status, low battery warning, data usage, and steps and walking distance of the day. The last two features will be available later through an OTA update.
The Realme C55 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 SoC, runs Android 13 based Realme UI 4.0 out of the box, and comes with two memory options – 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. 6G model has virtual RAM expansion support up to 8GB.
It’s built around a 6.72″ FullHD+ screen with 90Hz refresh rate and 600 nits peak brightness. The display has a punch hole for the 8MP selfie camera for selfies and video calls. The C55’s back sports a dual camera setup which is a combination of 64MP AI primary camera and 2MP unit housed in individual circular cutouts. The Realme C55 comes with a side mounted fingerprint scanner, which is siting on the power button, Dirac UltraBoom speaker. It’s fueled by a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W charging speeds support.
The remaining specs are including NFC, 3.5mm headset jack, USB-C port, and it will be offered in two colors: Rainy Night and Sunshowers.
While we wait for the pricing for Indonesia markets, the webpage confirmed the flash sale will begin on March 8 at 12PM. The device will also be launched in the global markets including India in the coming days.
