Following Qualcomm’s recent announcement, the Chinese manufacturer confirmed on Friday that the Realme GT Neo 5 SE will feature the latest Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC, which is currently the top-of-the-line chipset for mid-range smartphones. While the performance of the base phone using this chipset is known, the latest benchmark results of the Realme GT Neo 5 SE reveal how a commercial phone with this chipset can perform.
Previously, the only benchmark results available were from the base model through various benchmarking platforms, and many speculated that the commercial version could perform significantly better. However, the AnTuTu benchmark test of the Realme GT Neo 5 SE provides clarity on this matter.
The AnTuTu benchmarking tool has revealed that the Realme GT Neo 5 SE has achieved an impressive total score of 1,009,127 points. This score is particularly noteworthy, given that the phone is positioned as a mid-range device. It’s worth noting that this score is almost on par with the performance of MediaTek’s current flagship chipset, the Dimensity 9000, which is a remarkable feat.
Upon a closer analysis of the benchmark results, it becomes evident that the Realme GT Neo 5 SE has received an impressive CPU score of 255,246 and a GPU score of 360,306. These scores underscore the outstanding performance of the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC with Adreno 725 GPU.
In addition, the Realme GT Neo 5 SE has also achieved a UX score of 181,395 and a MEM score of 212,180, which further highlights its excellent performance. It’s worth noting that the device is expected to feature a 120Hz screen and can be configured with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, indicating that these benchmark scores may be for the top-end model.
In addition to its impressive synthetic benchmark performance, the Realme GT Neo 5 SE’s listing has also revealed some of its key specifications. These include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC, which is paired with 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device is also expected to ship with the latest Android 13 operating system out of the box, making it an attractive choice for tech-savvy consumers looking for a powerful mid-range smartphone.
