Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil the Redmi K60 series of smartphones on December 27 in China at 7pm local time. The lineup includes Redmi K60, K60 Pro, and K60E. Ahead of the launch event, the manufacturer has hinted the key specifications of the K60 Pro, through a couple of launch invites.
As you can in the above posters, the Redmi K60 Pro will come packed with 16 gigabytes of LPDDR5x RAM, paired up with 512 gigabytes of UFS 4.0 storage under the hood. Xiaomi also confirmed the K60 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. With the help of these latest top-notch specifications such as SD8G2 SoC, UFS 4.0 storage, LPDDR5x RAM, the K60 Pro will perform well enough for mobile gaming. Hence, there is no need for a dedicated version of the gaming edition under the K60 series.
Xiaomi says that 12GB variant of the K60 Pro has recorded the highest-ever score of 1,350,526 points on AnTuTu benchmarks. The device has also managed to score 1462 in the single-core test and 5038 in the multi-core test On Geekbench 5 platform.
The Redmi K60 Pro is also said to be featuring stainless steel material made 5,000mm2 vapor-chamber liquid cooling pad. Previous reports suggested the K60 Pro will be having an OLED display with 2K resolution and refresh clocked up to 120Hz, along with 50MP primary camera, while the entire device will be backed up by a 5,000mAh battery with 67W charging speeds.
