Samsung has officially announced two handsets: Samsung Galaxy Young and Galaxy Fame. Both the handsets are powered by Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box and packed with a 1GHz processor, 4GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 64 GB via a microSD slot and a 1,300mAh battery to run the handsets.
The Samsung Galaxy Young has 3 MP rear camera but no front-facing camera, 768 MB of RAM with a 3.27-inch HVGA TFT display measuring a 58.6 x 109.4 x 12.5 mm in dimension and weighs around 112g. But, the Galaxy Fame sports a 3.5-inch HVGA TFT display with a 512 MB of RAM, a 5MP rear camera and a VGA front camera. The device features NFC and Glonass GPS as well.
Both the devices will get the features of Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail, , Google Play Store, Google Play Books, Google Play Movies, Google Plus, YouTube, Google Talk and more.
The Samsung Galaxy Young will be available in different colors viz. white, deep blue, wine red and metallic silver. The Galaxy Fame will be available in pearl white and metallic blue.
The Galaxy Young and Galaxy Fame will be available in two versions depending on the market. There’s no info about the official price tag of the devices and when the devices will be available.
