Today, Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Camera (Wi-Fi). The device is similar to the original Galaxy Camera. It has high photographic features with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean mobile OS and dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity.
The newly announced Wi-Fi only Galaxy Camera has all of the innovative and practical features that the original Galaxy camera has. This device won’t have 3G/4G connection, so this will make more affordable for a user who doesn’t need the always-connected advantage of the original Galaxy Camera.
The dual band Wi-Fi technology will let you share photos with family and friends through email, social networks or mobile communication services like Samsung ChatON, even if there is no 3G/LTE connectivity.
The device sports a 4.8-inch HD Super Clear Touch Display, a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor, a 21x Super Long Zoom lens and a super-bright 16.3 MP camera BSI CMOS, 8GB of internal memory, a microSd slot to expand the storage, WiFi a/b/g/n dual-band, WiFi HT 40, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS/GLONASS and a 1,650 mAh battery. It will come with preloaded powerful photo and video editing tools, Photo Wizard and Video Editor.
Yet, there’s no further info regarding the availability and official price tag of the device. We’ll keep you posted.
