Come to Windows Phone 8 smartphone, the Samsung ATIV S is also one of the smartphones competing with other rivals like Nokia’s Lumia 920 and 820, and HTC’s 8X and 8S all running Microsoft’s Mobile OS. But the availability of Samsung ATIV S has been delayed until mid-December.
UK online retailer Clove reported that the stock arrival of the Samsung ATIV S has been delayed until December 10 meaning that you won’t get your ATV S until mid-December. The retailer has been taking pre-order since mid-October.
The Samsung ATIV S is packed with a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, with 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. They will provide microSD card slots to extend the storage and it is compatible up to 32 GB. This simplistic metro design of the Windows Phone 8 interface has a 4.8-inches SUPER AMOLED display measuring 8.7mm thick and weighs around 135g. This Windows Phone has an 8MP rear camera with Autofocus and LED flash and a 1.9MP front facing camera for video calling. The ATIV S also includes a 3.5mm port for headphones and a stereo FM radio with connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, 3G and DLNA.
Last month, the Samsung ATIV S Windows Phone went up for pre-order at online retailer website MobiCity in Australia priced $699 AUD (approx. USD $721) for the 16GB edition. The device was already up for pre-order in Belgium for €549.99.
Though you can still pre-order the device for £369.00 (£442.80 including VAT) or roughly $585, but you won’t get it until mid-December.
