The South Koran tech giant unveiled Exynos 1280 Galaxy A53 in March 2022, and it seems the company will soon come up with its successor, the Samsung Galaxy A54, whose specifications and images have been leaking online. It turns out that the Galaxy A54 will be much easier to repair than the Galaxy S23 phones.
Samsung has published a calculation of the Galaxy A54’s repairability score on its website, which was done according to the specific French standards, offering an official repair guide for opening the device, though it is in French. This has resulted in the document you can see below.
The Galaxy A54 is certainly one of the most highly anticipated mid-range phone from Samsung. According to the support page of the Galaxy A54 (SM-A546B) on Samsung France’s website, the Galaxy 54 has achieved a repairability score of 8.4. It is higher than what the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Ultra score, which managed to achieve 8.2 out of 10. This means you should be able to make your way through a guided repair of the Galaxy A54 a lot easier and with fewer tools than the high-end Samsung Galaxy S23 models.
Regardless of that, the Galaxy A54 is apparently headed to release in the next couple of months, and a full spec sheet has already been revealed courtesy of previous leaks. The phone is coming with a 6.6-inch full HD+ AMOLED touchscreen with 120Hz refresh rate. It has 6/8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal storage, which is expandable using a microSD card slot.
The Galaxy A54 also boasts a 50 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultrawide, and a 5 MP macro camera, as well as a 32 MP shooter for selfies. Both the front and rear cameras are rumored to record 4K videos. The battery is a 5,000 mAh cell with 25W wired charging support. At the helm is Samsung’s Exynos 1380 SoC.
The Galaxy A54 is expected to feature Wi-Fi 6, and it doesn’t feature the 3.5mm headset jack. Remaining specs are including dual-SIM car slot, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, USB Type-C port, stereo speakers, and IP67 rating for dust and water resistance.
