As a part of its Galaxy lineup, Sammy has launched the new Samsung Galaxy Camera in late August, is now confirmed to be on its way to U.K. The Galaxy Camera will feature a 21x zoom lens and a 16-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor. Galaxy Camera is the first Android OS powered camera from Samsung. The U.K. based Samsung-exclusive stores will start selling the Galaxy Camera at 5 p.m. this Wednesday, November 7th. In addition, Clove, Carphone Warehouse, Phones 4U and Jessops retailers will also begin selling it on Thursday, November 8th. U.S. based second largest carrier, AT&T is also planning to launch this Jelly Bean packing point-and-shoot camera, but there is no precise release date yet.

The device will also have some exclusive features including “Smart Pro Mode” with aperture, shutter speed, and other adjustments; voice control for functions like zooming, toggling flash; Ohoto Wizard to edit photos, Movie Wizard to edit videos; Best Group Shot; Share Shot users to share content with other Galaxy Cameras or Galaxy phones.
Samsung Galaxy Camera will sell for £399 inc. VAT, £332.50 excluding VAT.
