Most of you guys must be waiting to grab the Samsung Galaxy Nexus handset ASAP. While the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is expected to launch on November 17th by Verizon, the phone has already been rooted. MoDaCo’s Paul O’Brien has already got a “Superboot” rooting solution ready and waiting for you. “Superboot” is a special program installs a specialized boot image to the Galaxy Nexus and roots it at startup automatically. The process is a very easy one to apply and use, so you don’t need to flash anything, mess with ADB and no more tricky procedure.
The same source has again leaked boot and recovery images from the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, including a full (non-odexed) system dump from the device. The build of Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) is ICL23D. You can extract the ringtones, graphics and live wallpapers from system image of the Galaxy Nexus and you can apply them on other handsets. You can download the 3 files from the links provided here at below.
