Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy Nexus Release Pushed To Dec.13th?

If you’re dying to get your hands on Google’s latest Samsung-made offering, the Galaxy Nexus handset from Verizon, you’re not going to be happy to know that you won’t be able to buy it on this Friday. December 9 has been circulated as a possible release date of the Galaxy Nexus, but the folks over Droid-Life have started receiving numerous reports from sources that the handset might not be available on the estimated release date. BGR is also claiming that it has also received word from a Wireless Zone that the new GNex handset will not be out this Friday due to some unknown reasons.

But, a screenshot from an email sent to Wireless Zone employees, is suggesting that the the Samsung Galaxy Nexus will only be out on December 13. The Verizon Equipment Guide has been updated again and we can see a note that the handset is "coming soon". Previously it was showing “December 9, 2011.” and that information has been removed.

The real problem here is Verizon’s silence. They should announce an exact release date , as most consumers have waited this long for the anxiously awaited first Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS phone – Samsung Galaxy Nexus to launch stateside.

  1. Wow! Verizon is really milking it to sell more razr n rezound. To keep GS fans interested Verizon just keeps leaking these release date images on purpose. I wouldnt be surprise if the 13th is delayed to the 19th or the 21st. I give it to you though Verizon its working, but my last wait date is the 21st of december.
