Via its Twitter feed, Verizon has announced that it is currently inviting readers to sign-up for news updates regarding LTE capable Samsung Galaxy Nexus handset, but the carrier has yet to announce the release date of the handset. But, the enthusiasts in the United States will have the opportunity to grab the Samsung Galaxy Nexus phone for themselves very soon. According to the various rumors, December 8th could be the launch date of this beast. Fuelling to those previous rumors, the first set of the press shots of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus handset from a VZW .xml file. On the back side of the handset, you can see “Verizon”, “4G LTE’” logos. It looks like, the color scheme of the LTE version is slightly darker than the GSM version. Earlier, there was only the front face image of the Verizon’s Galaxy Nexus stored on Samsung’s website.
Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the first phone to come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS locked inside. There might a 32GB variant of the Galaxy Nexus handset from Verizon. Other features are including 4.65 Super AMOLED HD display with 1280 X 720 pixels of resolution, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera to make video calls, 1080p HD video recording capability, 1GB RAM, 16GB/32GB internal memory storage, Wi-Fi, 4G LTE capability, Android Beam, NFC capability, 1750mAh battery, and many more.
