Samsung is planning to introduce a new low-range Android powered handset, called the Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo. The device will be available in two versions; one is dual-SIM variant with model GT-S5312 and a single-SIM variant (GT-S5310).
The Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo will sport a 3.0-inch display with QVGA resolution, 2MP camera, and more. In terms of connectivity, the devices supports Bluetooth version 4.0, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and A-GPS. The device has 104.95 × 57.8 ×11.8mm in dimension and supports 3G network.
Last month, in India, the manufacturer introduced a new range of budget friendly phones which are named in the category, REX. In this series, four models are included: REX 60, REX 70, REX 80, and REX 90.
You can note that Samsung’s high end smartphone, the Galaxy S IV will be announced on March 14 at a Special Mobile unpacked event in New York.
Samsung will be offering the Galaxy Pocket Neo in Silver color before week 20 i.e. second week of May and it may be available globally.
No further info regarding the official pricing and additional specs of the device is available as of now. More details will emerge when the announcement comes nearer.
