The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the first Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS powered smartphone, packed with high-end specifications and a solid hardware under the hood. This handset is also known as “Google nexus Prime”.
According to the rumors, Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be shipping pre-installed with the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, packed with A contour display with an ultra-thin bezel an 9mm metal shell, while the body of the phone is just 8.94mm thick, sporting a 4.65 inches of Super AMOLED HD display with a curved display at a resolution of 1280 x 720-pixel (with a 100,000:1 contrast ratio and 16:9 aspect ratio), equipped with a 5 megapixel camera to capture video at 1080p HD (with LED Flash with zero shutter lag and fast shot2shot), an additional 1.3MP front facing camera. Under the hood, there is a TI OMAP 4460 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM, 32GB built-in memory storage, LTE/HSPA connectivity, Barometer for making initial GPS calculations go faster, the ability to monitor each app’s data usage on the device, Hidden notification LED, NFC functionality and a 1750mAh battery. It will be having all the regular features of an Android phone such as micro USB, GPS Navigation, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Android Market and a whole host of the Google & the carrier services.
Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be having a pure Google Experience without Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, and it will be having a brand new People App with Google+ Integration, as well as another new feature called “Android Beam” – simply touch your phone together to share data.

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus handset is due to arrive in November in the U.S., Europe and Asia with a global rollout following later for an unknown price tag.
If anybody can show me that this 5mp camera is better than either the newer or older gs2 8mp cameras, I will buy it.
Despite not having a SD card slot, this still beats the iPhone 4 in price and features. I want one now!!!!
