The rumor mill has been buzzing with talk about Samsung’s next flagship handset, the Galaxy S III. The announcement of the GS III is just a few months away now, so look for more naturally the rumor train is starting to pick up speed. Alleged details on the predecessor to the Samsung Galaxy S II handset. A latest rumor has it that March 13th will see the launch of the yet-to-be announced Samsung Galaxy S III handset. Samsung Galaxy S II is appearing to be bearing with a new model number GT-i9300.
Dutch site Mobile Cowboys is claiming that according to a trusted source, Samsung Galaxy S III handset will be available to purchase in Turkey on March 13th . As usual, take this rumor with a pinch of salt until official confirmation is provided. The Galaxy S III is supposed to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2012 event next month in Barcelona, followed by sales beginning in April. We’ve learnt from the past from Samsung that it is still reviewing the handset and the manufacturer is yet to decide on an exact launch date. According to the previous rumors, Galaxy S III packs a bigger 720p display, 12P camera on the rear side, and a quad-core processor under the hood.
The source is also claiming that Sammy is planning to release Galaxy S II and Galaxy Note refreshes – Galaxy S II Plus and Galaxy Note S in last quarter of this year. That is right before the holiday season. We probably won’t hear anything official from Samsung on all of this until these devices get officially announced.
