AT&t’s first set of the LTE capable handsets Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket and HTC Vivid will be available to purchase from tomorrow, November 6th for $249.99 and $199.99 respectively. Both handset will shipping with the build of Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but AT&T has confirmed that both the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket and HTC Vivid handsets will be upgraded to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS some time early in next year, 2012. There is no official word on firm date.
Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket runs Android 2.3.5 OS, with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus display at 800 x 480 pixels, 8-megapixel rear camera with a dual-LED flash, capable of full HD 1080p video, a 2-megapixel camera on the front, and 16GB of on-board storage with a microSD slot.

HTC Vivid is in both black and white and includes a 4.5-inch qHD display, and will run Android 2.3.4 with HTC Sense1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, an “enhanced” 8-megapixel camera that can record 1080p HD video at 60 frames per second, and 16GB on on-board storage with a microSD slot for more.
