Phew..! Yet another trip around the Samsung Galaxy S III leak zone. We’ve been seeing the supposedly leaked Samsung Galaxy S III images. Here’s another leaked image, which claims to be official render of the upcoming Samsung’s superphone Galaxy S III. No it can’t be the next flagship device from Sammy.
Well, you can observe that it’s the screenshot of the official press shot of the Samsung Galaxy S II (that was announced at last year’s MWC event), that has been photoshopped on to the Samsung Galaxy S Wi-Fi 4.2 device. You can also see that the notification bar is Gingerbread style. In fact, Ice Cream Sandwich OS powered handsets have got blue colored notification bar.
In addition to the fake render, we’ve also got some information about the key specs of the Samsung Galaxy S III handset, which seems to be legit. According to GSM Helpdesk, Samsung’s upcoming 2012 flagship will have a 4.7-inch SuperAMOLED Plus HD with 720p resolution with 313 pixels per inch, 12MP rear-facing camera with 1080p HD video recording @ 60fps & slow mode recording, 1GB RAM same as its predecessor, dual-carrier HSPA speeds with 42Mbs down or 5.76Mbps upload speeds, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n with Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC functionality, HDMI out with HML option, 32GB memory storage and it will measure 131 x 64 x 8 mm and weigh 125g. A couple of days ago, Samsung’s very own executive has mentioned that 1.5GHz Exynos quad-core processor with LTE on-board chip for Samsung Galaxy S III handset.
The source ahs also mentioned that Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy S III handset on May 22nd. It’s just a rumor. But, we’ll see the Galaxy S III handset from Samsung before too long,
