Finally, Samsung made it official. The Samsung Galaxy S III is the perfect the competitor for the recently launched HTC One X, Sony Xperia S and of course it is Samsung’s answer to the upcoming Apple iPhone 5. It has also introduced S Voice app, which can be mentioned as the Apple’ Siri rival. The handset has got may smart and impressive features. Galaxy S III can recognizes your eye movement and stays on while you’re looking at it. It always listen and respond your voice with the help of S Voice app.
Samsung Galaxy S III will have a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED 720p display with Eye Tracking technology, powered by Samsung-made Exynos quad-turbine processor clocked at 1.4GHz, 16/32GB internal storage with memory support via microSD cards (64GB edition will come soon), 1GB RAM, 8MP rear camera with flash that can record 1080p HD videos. Zero shutter lag on the camera, and it takes less than one second to get back to camera mode and it can burst 30 shots at a time, 3.3 shots per second. There’s 1.9MP shooter on the front side of the device for forwarding video chats. There’s no word on TouchWiz branding interface on top of Android 4.0 ICS. Galaxy S III will have DivX/Xvid codec support, Swype text input, as well as improved SNS integration.
S Voice app will let you to wake up the Galaxy S III by saying “HI Galaxy”. Say “Hi Galaxy, how’s the weather in London,” then you can look up the weather in London without touching the screen at all. Isn’t it impressive? To open the camera app, say “I want to take a picture” Another new feature called Smart Alert, which will alert you to a missed call or text from someone important, as you pick up your phone. If you are texting someone and you suddenly want to call him/her, you can put the phone up to your ear and it will automatically dial their number, using Direct Call service.

There’s another feature called Floating Videos, which lets you resize videos and move them around on the display whilst they float on other windows. S-beam feature utilizes WiFi Direct and NFC to allow two Galaxy S III handsets to share content. You can stream content directly from phone to phone via Beam/WiFi Direct. Galaxy S III’s battery is quite large at 2100mAh and it has also got wireless charging capability. AllShare Cast Dongle lets GS III to stream content to and control presentations on any HDMI-enabled display..
Samsung Galaxy S III will also come preinstalled with a handful of apps such as S Pebble, S Health, DriveLink, Enterprise, Social tag, Group tag, Face zoom, Face slide show and more.
It will ship in both Pebble Blue and Marble White colored editions. Europe will get the Galaxy S III handset on May 29th and it will hit the U.S. markets this summer. 4G LTE edition will be available the U.S. from this June. Samsung has yet to announce the price info.
