The Samsung Galaxy S III handset is slated for May 29 launch in Europe and the U.K. based major wireless carrier have already confirmed their launch details of the new Galaxy handset. Three UK is planning to offer pre-orders from today. Samsung Galaxy S III handset is also set for US launch and we heard that it is gearing up for June release in the U.S. But, there is no word on which carrier will get and the big question is when. Samsung U.S. is currently letting the U.S. consumers to signup for the handset with carrier of choice among AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, MetroPCS and more.
According to The Verge’s anonymous sources, Sprint is expected to launch this year’s most awaited Samsung Galaxy S III handset later this year. Sprint has already launched all the Galaxy handsets such as Galaxy S (Epic 4G), Galaxy S II (pic 4G Touch). Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus, while Verizon passed on the Galaxy S II last year in favor of the Galaxy Nexus handset.
Samsung Galaxy S III features Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, power housing a 1.4GHz Exynos 4412 quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and the display is 4.8-inch HD Super AMOELD display with Gorilla Glass and other features are including an 8MP rear camera, which can capture 1080p HD videos @ 30fps, 1.9MP front camera with face recognition capabilities, Siri-like S Voice app and many more.
