A couple of days ago, a new image has leaked online (pictured above), which is rumored to be the first official render of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S III handset. But, you can observe that the handset in the above image is looking like the the Samsung Galaxy S Wi-FI 4.2 device with Ice Cream Sandwich filling and Samsung’s own TouchWiz UI on top of it. Today, we’ve got some exciting rumors about the successor of the Galaxy S II handset.
Samsung’s very own executive has confirmed that an Exynos 4412-branded chipset with four CPU cores will power the Samsung Galaxy S III handset, instead of the Qualcomm chipset. He claims that the Exynos processor will get a new nanometer process and it will bring a 50% increase in battery life. He has also mentioned that Galaxy S III handset comes with Samsung’s own on-chip LTE radio with HSPA+ available as a fall-back to fix the poor battery life issues.
The other thing to discuss here is that a Korean website DDaily claims the manufacturer’s “secret weapon” in their upcoming super phone Galaxy S III is wireless charging capability.
According to the previous reports, the Samsung Galaxy S III handset is expected to sport a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus HD screen, 8mm thinner profile, 12MP camera, a massive 2250mAh battery, a very little bezel and it will ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS out-of-the-box. So, which feature is exciting you? Wireless charging or Exynos quad-core chipset or 12MP camera?
