Recently, we reported that Samsung will announce the much awaited smartphone Galaxy S IV in New York City on March 14. New reports/rumors suggest that Samsung will introduce the smartphone by packing with multiple types of processors worldwide. Taipei Times quoted JP Morgan stating “Similar to its previous Galaxy S3, Samsung is expected to adopt multiple solutions for the application processors and baseband chips in its new Galaxy S4, which will be unveiled in New York on March 14”.
The Samsung Galaxy S IV powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor will be offered in the US. The processors required for the device will be manufactured by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation (TSMC).
In addition to this Qualcomm powered Galaxy S IV, another variant powered by Samsung’s Octa-core Exynos 5 processor will also be introduced to European markets.
The Galaxy S IV is rumored to feature the fastest internet connection with 5G Wi-Fi technology and a wireless charging module which will be compatible with any standard Qi charger. The smartphone may be packed with the upcoming hexagon and diamond shaped pixel layout in order to become one of the highest resolution displays when compared to other rival products.
The smartphone is expected to be packed with a 4.99-inch Full-HD SoLux Display instead of the usual AMOLED display technology, 2GB of RAM, 13MP Rear-facing camera, and more.
