A couple of days ago, we got the first confirmation from Samsung’s official Facebook page about the upcoming availability of a black version of the Samsung Galaxy S III handset, whic was spotted taking a tour of London, snapping pics, and beaming videos highlighting the 2012 London Olympic Games. Unsurprisingly, the device is looking completely identical with the current “Pebble Blue,” “Marble White,” and “Garnet Red” versions of the Galaxy S III handset. But, some parts of the snaps look to be blue.
Today, we got real deal as the newly leaked snap from the inventory system of the large retailer Carphone Warehouse suggests that the Galaxy S3 will be available in black. The rumored “Samsung Galaxy S 3 Black” version has also made an appearance in U.K. retailer Carphone Warehouse’s inventory system, listed alongside the Pebble Blue and Marble White Galaxy S3 entries, which is making us to believe that Sammy will indeed launch the new color edition of the Galaxy S III very soon. We’ll have more information in the coming days.
As a specs refresher, the Samsung Galaxy S III comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, a bigger display, quad-core processor (international version) or dual-core S4 processor (U.S. version), 8MP rear facing f/2.6 camera, NFC with Android Beam, S Voice app, microSD card slot and more. Finally, we can say that Samsung hasn’t abandoned its typical black color for its latest flagship handset.
