Samsung has today officially unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus Android tablet. With this Samsung has in total announced 4 tablets this year of various screen sizes including the 10.1, 8.9 and the recent 7.7. We first heard about the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus a couple of weeks back when a T-Mobile version of the tablet leaked in photos.
Coming to specs, Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus packs a 7-inch PLS LCD display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb on top of Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, packs a powerful 1.2GHz Exynos dual-core processor (which also powers the Samsung Galaxy S II), 1GB of RAM, 16GB and 32GB variants (with support for microSD card up to 32GB), a 3 megapixel camera on the back which supports 720p HD video recording, a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for video chats, connectivity options include quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE,tr-band 3G (21 Mbps HSPA), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 GHz/ 5GHz), GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, powered by a 4000mAh battery and features all other regular features of an Android Honeycomb OS powered tablet.
Pricing And Availability:
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus will be available in Indonesia and Australia starting from end-October and will then be rolled out in other parts of the world later. Samsung hasn’t disclosed any details of the pricing yet, we’ll keep waiting.
