Samsung China officially announced a mid-range smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Win. The device is powered by Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box.
The Galaxy Win sports a 4.7-inch WVGA TFT display which is packed with a 1.2 GHz quad core processor. It has 1 GB of RAM , 5 mega pixel rear-facing camera, 0.3 front-facing megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, 8GB of internal storage, a microSD slot to expand the storage, and 2000mAh battery to power the device. It supports pre-loaded social networking apps like ChatON, Sina Weibo, and QQ instant messaging software service.
In addition to the above features, the South Korean mobile manufacturer will be introducing a number of alluring features for the smartphone: Easy Mode for simple access to most used functions, Smart Alert which can give notifications for missed call, messages and more when you pick up the smartphone, and Motion UX which can use functions such as Mute, Refresh, Update and Scan for other devices with simple motion controls.
The Samsung Galaxy Win will be available in two versions; Single SIM and dual SIM. The smartphone will be available in Ceramic White and Titan Gray colors.
Coming to the availability, the smartphone will be available in Asia first and it is expected to be available in Europe later. For pricing information, there’s no further report as of now. It’s time to wait for more reports and official announcement. We’ll keep you posted.
