It’s been a long time since Samsung officially released the Samsung Galaxy S II, the company’s flagship mobile phone for 2011. The mobile phone however hasn’t seen its light of the day in the U.S. yet. But we already knew that the device is coming to variant U.S. carriers under different names. According to what we already heard, Sprint is going to launch this beast as ‘Samsung Galaxy Within’. That was all we knew until yesterday rather unofficially. Thanks to a new leak, we can now confirm that the Galaxy Within is coming in quick time to Sprint as the phone has been spotted in the wild in a blurry cam pictures sporting the logos of Sprint and Samsung on its textured back.
As you can see in the pictures, the phone has a textured back and an 8 megapixel camera on the back. While we can’t say anything about the overall design of the phone, but the textured back as we know is the same like what the international version of Galaxy S II has. The source has also indicated that the phone is running Android 2.3.4 which brings the support for Gtalk Video chat, while the international version of the Samsung Galaxy S II is still shipping with the Android 2.3.3. Good news, eh?
