We have been hearing rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S III mini recently. We had reported earlier that an invitation was distributed by Samsung to announce some kind Galaxy S-class smartphone on October 11th. The tag line read “Prepare for something small to make a big entrance,” and “how big small can be.” Based on these descriptions we had derived that this will be the long rumored Samsung Galaxy S III Mini.
Today the reports has been confirmed by Samsung Mobile chief JK Shin, the Galaxy S III Mini is for real. It will make its debut at an event in Frankfurt, Germany tomorrow. JK Shin said that the company believed there are reports that demands for a smaller 4-inch version of the popular smartphone in Europe is high. The Smaller version will carry the same specs of the original.
The new version of the popular mobile will put up even tougher competition to iPhone 5 with similar form factors and users who prefer smaller versions of handsets this version will open up their mind on the Samsung Galaxy Series.
Pricing and availability was not mentioned in the press release. Well the phone is releasing tomorrow, October 11 so stay tuned. The news also pointed that the Mini will also be launching in Korea soon.
