Samsung Hercules Gets Quadrant Benchmarking Treatment; Hitting T-Mobile On October 26th?

We’ve already reported that the Samsung Hercules is set to arrive on T-Mobile air waves as the Samsung Galaxy S II version for the carrier, and we’ve also showed you the pictures of the handset. Canada based Telus carrier also launching it very soon. Folks over Mobile Syrup website have got some new images of the Samsung Hercules handset, which is destined for Telus network. These leaked images looks similar to the T-Mobile’s Hercules variant’s leaked images which we saw a few days ago. In fact, both the Telus and T-Mobile mostly release the same handsets with no change in the design.

The new images are showing the Quadrant Benchmarking results of the Samsung Hercules handset, which has earned a score of 3,350. Specs wise, Samsung Hercules is rumored to be having a huge 4.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 480 X 800 pixels of resolution, 42Mbps HSPA+ capability, latest and greatest version of Android OS – v2.3 Gingerbread, dual core processor clocked at 1.2GHz speeds, 1GB RAM, flash equipped 8 megapixel camera to record 1080p HD videos, front facing shooter to make video calls, NFC feature, 16GB internal storage, microSD card slot support for 32GB memory expansion, and of course, all the regular features of an Android handset coming with the Samsung Hercules device.

Price & Availability

There is no word yet on the release date and the price info of the Samsung Hercules neither from the carriers nor the manufacturer. According to a previous leak, it might hit T-Mobile markets on October 26th.

  1. Personally I’ll be holding off for the Nexus Prime. With the rumored specs, manufactured by Sammy and Google to the core… Theres just nothing more to be wanted. All this rests on Sprint actually getting that beast tho’
    Anyway, the Hercules isn’t easily brushed aside either, it’s a heck of anphone.
