In the current market of competition, there seems to be an unofficial revelation that Samsung is gearing up to announce the Galaxy S IV at MWC 2013 which is scheduled from 25 to 28 February next year. There are hopes of putting the spotlight away from iPhone 5 which Samsung has been continuously trying to achieve.
An unnamed Samsung official said “Samsung is ready to unveil the next Galaxy smartphone – the Galaxy S4 – at early next year’s mobile world congress (MWC) in the Spanish city of Barcelona’’, reported the Korea Times.
However we can’t say whether the published news is realistic or not. The source also revealed that “the new device is expected to hit shelves globally in March at the latest” following an initial announcement at MWC 2013 in February and while it would retain the “inspired by nature” design language of its predecessor, the screen might get a bump from 4.8 to 5 inches. The brand new Samsung Phone is likely to be available one month after its announcement, probably towards the end of March, 2013. It might seem odd for a company to talk up its next product so soon after the last on, but it may be a deliberate marketing of a certain new contender.
Recently, Samsung compared the iPhone 5 with Galaxy S3 in a newspaper ad. The ad ridiculed the new iPhone 5 for lacing many features even though some experts claim that Samsung has omitted some features of the Apple’s iPhone 5 like iCloud, shared photo stream, Facetime over cellular and more and other advertisement released in newspaper also further adds the difference between the fastest running of Apple’s latest version of operating system (iOS) and old version of mobile operating system (Android Ice Cream Sandwich) on Samsung Galaxy S3, hence we are expecting a reply from Samsung against Apple soon.
