Samsung is reportedly gearing up to release the AT&T branded Google Nexus S smartphone and it would be the white version, sporting a black face, but rest of the outer case is white (just like AT&T’s HP Veer 4G).
Folks over PocketNow have managed to get a screenshot of the AT&T compatible Nexus S from Samsung’s website. The page is clearly showing the GT-I9020A model number and there’s also a mention of the AT&T network within the page. This handset might not be HSPA+ capable, as the press image is boasting the “3G” icon in the notification bar. We guess the Nexus S for AT&T might go on sale as an unlocked device
Previously, we’ve seen a white edition of Nexus S handset with AT&T 3G bands, listed on the Negri Electronics for sale, but it is bearing the different model number i9020T.
Google Nexus S comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, powered by 1GHz Hummingbird CPU, 16GB internal storage, 512MB RAM, NFC chip, equipped with dual cameras – 5 Megapixels camera at back side capable of 720p HD video recording and an additional VGA front-facing camera for video chats, Wi-Fi, DLNA, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Android Market and more.
