We were pretty sure that it is heading to Verizon. We first heard about the Samsung Stratosphere (SCH-I405) through a leaked memo and then we saw some leaked photos of this handset. Now, we’ve got a press shot of this handset. Samsung Stratosphere is heading Verizon with LTE capability on the board, packed with mid-range specifications. The design of the Samsung Stratosphere is similar to the Samsung Epic 4G that currently resides at Sprint, the QWERTY keyboard has a few minor changes including internet short cut key, new locations for the ‘shift’ & ‘fn’ keys and an emoticon key added.
Specs wise, Samsung Stratosphere comes pre-installed Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread OS, 4G LTE connectivity, a full slide-out physical QWERTY keyboard, a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, a 1.3 megapixel camera sits at front side, 2.17GB of storage remaining after a hard reset, a single-core 1GHz processor with 512MB of RAM, 1800mAh battery and its “awesome” display is expected to be Super AMOLED Plus Disiplay with 480 X 800 pixels of resolution.
