Back in mid-March, we’ve already reported that a dual-SIM version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 handset has been reviewed ahead of the announcement of the original Galaxy S4. Today, the South Korean manufacturer has officially launched the new Galaxy S4 GT-I9502, which comes with two SIM slots and there’s Samsung’s own Exynos 5 Octa-Core processor (Quad-Core 1.6GHz + Quad-Core 1.2GHz) under the hood.
Samsung Galaxy S4 I9502 will be offered in China only, and there’s now word on Samsung’s plans for launching this handsets other parts of the world, such as India, where dual-SIM phones are very popular among consumers. Samsung has listed another Galaxy S4 Chinese model, GT-I9508, which has got single-SIM card slot with Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor in tow.
Galaxy S4 I9502 will carry all the similar specs of the GT-I9500, which is also the Exynos 5 Octa-Core processor powered handset. You will have a 5-inch Super AMOLED Full HD display with 441 PPI, 2GB RAM, 13MP main camera, 2.1MP front-facing shooter, microSD card slot to accept up to 64GB, NFC, Wi-Fi a/b/c/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, 2,600mAh battery, and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with the latest TouchWiz UI on top of it.. It will also come preinstalled with a suite of exclusive apps – Group Play, smart scroll, smart pause, gesture sensing, floating window preview, S Voice, S Health, WatchON, Samsung Hub, optimize the display, optimized sound.
A few days ago, President of Samsung Gulf, Young Soo Kim, has noted that the company is also working on a water-resistant Galaxy S4 handset. Sony is currently offering a great Android phone, the Xperia Z, which has got water-resistant.
