Samsung has just announced it has launched the new Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 tablet, a 7-inch Android tablet that will be priced aggressively at an affordable price tag. We’ve been hearing about the Galaxy Tab 3 series of tablets since early this year. This is a new tablet that comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box, and offers full-support for Google Play and the full-sledged Android eco-system. It has got resemblance to the Galaxy S4 handset’s design (which is also made by Samsung).
It touts a 7-inch TFT display with 1024 x 600 pixels of resolution, which is in the low-end of the display spectrum. There’s a couple of cameras on each side. Samsung is offering it in Wi-Fi version, and 3G version with voice call capability.

It’s worth noting that design-wise, this is a big-sized cousin of the famous Galaxy S4, which has launched in the United States a couple of days ago. Samsung has planned to release the Wi-Fi variant of the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 in early May, while the 3G version will start hitting the stores in May. There’s no word on the price info of the device yet.
