The product page of the Samsung Galaxy Discover has been found on Samsung US’s website. A full list of the technical specs of the handset along with some photos have been listed in the page.
You may have already known that most of the Samsung offered device are based on Samsung own TouchWiz UI but this customized user interface is not likely to be packed on this handset.
From the product page, it has been confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Discover will be heading to both Net10 and Straight Talk carriers. The handset will be packed with a 3.5-inch 320×480 touchscreen, a 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7225A processor, a 3-megapixel rear camera, a 2.7GB internal storage which can be expandable up to 32GB via microSD slot, HSDPA 7.2Mbps 850/1900MHz and 1300mAh battery to run the handset. The handset will be powered by Android 4.0. Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box.
It is further reported that the images of the handset has a logo below its earpiece that belongs to Tracfone, which is a service provider for Straight Talk and Net10.
Even though, the page showed the handset with full specs alongside the name of the carriers, there is no further info when the device will be available in the market and how much the handset will cost. We’ll keep you updated.
