In expansion to its Bada OS powered Wave family, Samsung has introduced another handset called, Wave 578 (GT-S5780), which is obviously a low-range device having some notable features, sunch as Near Field Communication (NFC) support to facilitate mobile payments, as well as other services like door lock/unlock and etc.
Samsung Wave 578 comes packed within the metallic body powered by Bada OS 1.1, sporting 3.2-inch 432 x 240 LCD screen with multitouch support, Samsung TouchWiz, equipped with a 3.2 megapixel rear camera, and an additional VGA front-facing camera for video calling, Social Hub, Bluetooth 3.0, support for 3.5G data, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, FM radio, a 3.5mm audio socket. Music and other media content can be stored on a micro-SD card (up to 16GB) or in the 100MB of internal memory.
The phone is fairly trim and lightweight, too. There’s no HD video support for both playback and recording
