Samsung’s new anti-iPhone advertisement is claiming that the Samsung Galaxy S3 is more advanced than Apple’s new iPhone 5. Samsung is confident that their device already matches the new Apple iPhone 5 in specification wise. A new newspaper banner advertisement released by the company suggests that they have the better device on paper. The Korean manufacturer has sent out the advertisement, titled “It doesn’t take a genius”, and compiled the list of features offered by Samsung Galaxy S3 and Apple’s iPhone 5. As we can imagine, the advertisement favors the Samsung Galaxy S3, although there is no denying that some of the features available on Samsung galaxy S3 has more significance than those offered on Apple’s iPhone 5.
For example:
- • Samsung Galaxy S3 has bigger screen(4.8 inch screen)
• Bigger amount of RAM (2GB),
• Bigger resolution (1280×720)
• More standby and talk time
• Samsung S3 has Standard micro USB plug but Apple has “a totally different plug”
• Samsung S3 has NFC capability and removable battery but there is no such capabilities on Apple’s iPhone 5
Apart from this, Samsung’s marketing department has been going into overdrive. Samsung spent probably top dollar in marketing this year, because they are starting the use of social networks to battle Apple.
But, Digital Trends claims that Samsung Galaxy S3 has omitted some features of the Apple’s iPhone 5 like iCloud, shared photo stream, Facetime over cellular and more. The advertisement also further adds the differences between the operating system of Samsung Galaxy S3 and Apple’s iPhone 5. Apple uses the latest version of Apple’s mobile OS i.e. iOS 6 but Samsung still runs Android Ice Cream Sandwich, an older version of Google’s popular mobile operating system.
