Sony has officially announced the brand new Xperia Go, which is a rugged stylish handset with protection against the elements. The manufacturer will launch it as Sony Xperia Advance in the U.S. Sony Xperia Go is a mid-range spec’d device and it is IP67 certified, which it has got dust and water proof (up to 1m for 30 mins). The device has also included a scratch-proof mineral glass on top of the display.

The Sony Xperia Go will start hitting the stores all over the world from the 3rd quarter of this year in black, white and yellow colored editions. There is no word on the price info and the U.S. availability of the Xperia Advance handset yet.
