A German website has posted a gallery of a mid-range spec’d Sony C5303 HuaShan Android phone, which has been caught on camera. We first heard about this handset, through the EXIF data from a photo in mid-December of 2012.
Looks wise, the Sony HuaShan is sporting a familiar design of the newly launched Xperia Z/ZL phones. You can slightly rounded corners and the metallic grey Power key in the middle of the right side of the handset. Sony Xperia Tablet Z has also got the same trademark. The device has got on-screen navigational buttons, and a thick chassis
On the software side of things, the Sony C5303 HuaShan will ship with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, which is the same OS the Xperia Z phone will release with. It is also expected to feature an HD screen with an unspecified size, running with a 1.7GHz MSM8960T dual-core processor from Qualcomm with Adreno 320 GPU, and it will be able to run on LTE networks. According to a photo leaked on Picasa, this device will have a 5MP camera on back side. It is also rumored to feature waterproofing capability.
There’s no word on the release date and price information of the Sony HuaShan phone. It would be great, if we could see this device unveiled officially at MWC 2013 that is happening next month in Barcelona.
