Sony Ericsson took the wraps off its new Android OS powered handset of its Xperia portfolio, named as Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V. The Xperia Neo V comes pre-installed with the updated Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread OS. Dimensions wise, it measures 13mm thickness and weighs 126 grams of size. Xperia Neo V is having most of the same technical specifications as that of the Xperia Neo launched earlier this year.

Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread Update For 2011 Xperia Lineup
Along with the announcement of the Xperia Neo V handset, Sony Ericsson has announced that it will be upgrading its entire Xperi portfolio of 2011 with Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread update starting October. The goodies arrive along with Gingerbread 2.3.4:
# Google Talk with video chats.
# Facebook inside Xperia.
# 3D sweep panorama, swipe input and support for screenshots,
# Extended connectivity with USB peripherals as well as the Sony Ericsson LiveDock station.
# Swipe (SE haven’t noted it as “Swype”) Text Input.
