We first heard of the Sony LT29i “Hayabusa” handset at the beginning of this year, which was featured on a leaked 2012 roadmap of the manufacturer. According to the latest reports, Sony is preparing to launch the Hayabusa handset in the month of June. China based Baidu blog has revealed more details about this handset and it could be the best handset the manufacturer has created so far.
According to the source, Sony LT29i Hayabusa handset is expected to ship with Sony’-made 13MP “stacked” camera sensor with HDR video function and improved low-light performance. AT&T branded 12MP camera equipped Xperia Ion (LT28at) handset is expected to receive this sensor. The device pictured above is claimed to be the prototype of the Sony Hayabusa.

Sony LT29i Hayabusa is expected to be officially announced in June and it may it hit the markets in July. It is also being rumoredthat this device might be renamed as the Sony Xperia GX eventually.
The source has also mentioned that Sony ay release its first-ever quad-core handset LT30i in October and it will sport an OLED display.
