Sony fans are excited about the Japanese company’s upcoming launch of the Xperia phones. The company will soon launch three models – the high end Xperia 1 V, and the mid-ranger Xperia 10 V, alongside the Xperia 5 V. We’ve already had a pretty good look at both the Xperia 1 V and Xperia 10 V through CAD-based renders.
There have been quite a few rumors and leaks concerning these devices. A few weeks ago, we have reported about the alleged full specs of the Xperia 1 V. Sony is preparing to launch matching accessories as well, including several styles of cases.
If you’re up for yet another round of Xperia leaks, the prolific leakster Slashleaks has posted a bunch of protective cases of the Xperia 1 V and Xperia 10 V. The new leak showcase the designs for the Clear View Cover cases, providing us with more design clues about the upcoming Xperia handsets.
As per the images, you can observe that Sony has previously employed the similar design elements for the previous-gen Xperia 1 IV and Xperia 10 IV handsets. Unsurprisingly, the case designs match the earlier-leaked Xperia 10 V and Xperia 1 V official-looking renders perfectly.
Specs wise, the Xperia 1 V is rumored to have a 6.5″ Samsung E6 display (3840 x 1644px) with 1-120Hz refresh rate, and it will be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC chipset, coupled with 12GB/16GB LPDDR5 RAM, 256/512 GB UFS4.0 storage, 12MP triple cameras on the rear, 12MP 1/2.9″ 23mm front camera, IP68 rating, and a 5000mAh battery under the hood.
Nothing much has been revealed yet about the Xperia 10 V. A few days, a Sony Xperia device has been spotted on Geekbench with 16GB RAM, and Snapdragon Gen 2 SoC, under the model number XQ-DQ72, and scored 1946 and 5056 in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. Some experts speculate that the XQ-DQ72 could be the Xperia 1 V while some experts are suggesting it could be the Xperia 5 V.
As per the recent leak, the Xperia 1 V is rumored to be priced at $1599 in the US and €1399 in the UK. The Xperia 10 V will be available to purchase for 16238 Taiwan Dollars (~ $532), and 3799 Hong Kong dollars in Taiwan, and Hong Kong respectively.
