Last month, Sony started seeding out the latest Android OS update for the Xperia 10 IV handset. The latest smartphone to be graced with an update to Android 13 is Sony’s mid-range Xperia 10 III, which launched back in June 2021 with Android 11 preinstalled. The handset is now seemingly receiving the stable update to Android 13, in European and Asian countries.
The latest update is meant for global dual-SIM Sony Xperia 10 III variant (XQ-BT52). The Android 13 update arrives over-the-air as a 880.8 MB download, so it might be best to grab it asap. After installation, you’ll be on software version 62.2.A.0.367, and the update also bumps up the security patch level to January 2023.
The Android 13 update brings you Material You design language with theme, color, and icon customization options, updates to digital well-being, and security, the ability to set different languages for different apps, improved permissions, and much more.
The Xperia 10 III users are advised to check for update settings on their handsets. It may reach your handsets in the coming days. You can also look for the Xperia Companion app to download the update.
