Recently, we learned that the Sony Xperia S handset is set to receive its ICS update by the end of this month (or early June). Looks like the scheduled update is right on track. SonyXP website has released a video demo of the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich OS update for the Xperia S handset.
You can see that Sony has decided to use its custom launcher on top of the Android 4.0.4 build, The update will bring new Gallery, resizeable widgets, a new Walkman music player, which will ship preinstalled with the newly launched Sony Xperia GX and Xperia SX handsets. The Android 4.0.4 ICS update will let you to launch the camera from the lock screen. The addition of the new Gallery brings support for increasing and reducing thumbnail size. The video walkthrough aspects of the updated OS except for the browser.
