A couple of days ago, Sony has officially announced global availability of its latest flagship handset – Xperia S and has started shipping it to carriers and retailers around the globe, but the press release doesn’t mention about the carrier availability. It looks like the Xperia S handset is heading to Canada to launch on Rogers network. Facebook page of the Sony Mobile Canada has revealed out that Xperia S handset is coming soon to Rogers network. But, the page has already been removed from its Facebook account.
According to Mobile Syrup, Rogers has confirmed that the Sony Xperia S handset will utilise the carrier’s HSPA+ connectivity and Canadians have to buy it for a full retail price tag. But, there is no word on release date and price info of the handset.
