Yesterday, Sony Australia confirmed that it will start offering the Sony Xperia Z smartphone in March. This time it is reported that the device will be available in Russia. The Xperia Z will be made available for sale at the end of this month for 29,990 Roubles which is around $996. The price will include a DK26 Charging Dock.
Few days ago, Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo started carrying the Sony Xperia Z smartphone which was unveiled at CES 2013.
The Sony Xperia Z is powered by Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS out of the box. It is packed with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, a 13MP camera with Exmor RS for mobile and video HDR mode, NFC functionality and more. The device also comes with a high level of dust (IP5X) and water resistance (IPX5/7) and OmniBalance design with subtly rounded edges.
Two Finnish retailers and UK Carrier Three already started taking pre-order for the Sony Xperia Z smartphone and it is expected to be available on February 28.
In Russia, the Sony Xperia Z will be available in three different color variants i.e. Black, Purple and White. We’ll let you know if there is any report regarding the availability of the device in the region.
