A week ago, Japanese mobile manufacturer, Sony launched its 2013 flagship device, the Sony Xpera Z smartphone at CES 2013 in Las Vegas. On the same date of announcement, it was also reported that the newly launched smartphone will be available at Phones4u, UK store starting from March 1 and the device will be heading to Vodafone carrier. Now, we are getting an exciting news for folks living in Germany that the smartphone will be available in February.
The smartphone will hit O2 carrier. The device has shown up on the official website of the carrier with an expected release date in February. But unfortunately, it doesn’t show the specific date for introducing the smartphone.
This Sony Xperia Z smartphone comes with a 5-inch 1080p Full HD Reality display with 1920 by 1080 pixels of resolution and it is packed with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, a rear-facing 13MP Fast Capture camera with Exmor RS for mobile and video HDR mode, a 2300mAh battery and NFC functionality. The smartphone comes with a high-level of dust (IP5X) and water resistance (IPX5/7), running Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS out of the box. The Sony Xperia Z smartphone will come in multiple colors: White, Black, and Purple.
Since Sony didn’t announce the official pricing tag of the device at the CES event, there’s no word regarding its price yet. But we are hoping that Sony will reveal the pricing info as the smartphone will be available in February.
