Along with its Xperia Z Android flagship, Sony has also announced the Xperia ZL at its press event on CES floors in Las Vegas. Sony Xperia ZL is sharing all the same specifications as that of the high-gloss packing Xperia Z, except a few changes including a matte finish and there’s a a large metallic ring around its rear camera lens on back side of the phone. If you are wondering, Xperia ZL is smaller than the Xperia Z, but Sony has managed to offer the same display, quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro SoC, and 13-megapixel main camera capable of recording HDR video.

Sony hasn’t included IPX5/7 and IP5X ratings for water and dust resistance for Xperia ZL handset, which were introduced in Xperia Z. The manufacturer has also confirmed that Xperia ZL will be available to purchase from the 3rd quarter of this year.
