Last week, we already reported that Samsung is already preparing to introduce two new Fonblets, the Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 and the Galaxy Mega 6.3 in the second quarter of this year. But specs of the devices were not available. Fortunately, specs of the upcoming Fonblets have been confirmed.
The Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 will reportedly sport a 5.8-inch qHD TFT display with an 8MP rear-facing camera and a 2 MP front-facing camera. The smartphone will be powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz with 1.5GB of RAM. It supports Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 80211 a/b/g/n, A-GPS and more.
The smartphone having 164×83.8×9.7mm in dimension will be powered by either Android 4.1.2 or 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system. Nature UX will be the customized interface of the device.
Another Samsung’s Fonblet, the Galaxy Mega 6.3 has a 6.3-inch display which is similar to that of the screen size of the Samsung Galaxy Note III which we confirmed last month.
The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 will sport an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, a dual core-processor clocked at 1.7GHz, 1.5GB of RAM, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 80211 a/b/g/n, A-GPS, and 3200mAh battery to run the device. The dimension of the device is 88×167.6×7.9mm. There’s no precise info which version of Google’s Android will power the device. But it is expected to be running on Android 4.1.2 or 4.2.2.
.The Galaxy Mega 6.3 will be available in Black and White in two variants with and without LTE. GT-I9200 3G and GT-I9205 LTE will be the respective model numbers of the two variants. The Black version is expected to be available around week 20 and the White version will be available later.
The Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 will be unveiled around week 22 (last week of May) and it will be available in White color only.
